Overview
Post-Render Shutdown is a lightweight Blender add-on for unattended rendering. Start your render and let Blender automatically save, close, and shut down your system when it’s finished.
Features
- One click toggle in the 3D View header
- Automatically saves your file before exit
- OS aware shutdown (Windows, macOS, Linux)
- Safe handling of cancelled renders
Quick start
- Drag and drop the add-on into Blender to install it
- Save your .blend file
- Enable Post-Render Shutdown in the header
- Start your render

How it works
The add-on listens to Blender’s render lifecycle. When a render finishes, it saves your file, closes Blender, and sends a shutdown command to your system.
